Point Bonita sits at the Bay entrance in the Marin Headlands, Sausalito, CA 94965, on the west side of the Golden Gate. The lighthouse marks the turn from open ocean into San Francisco Bay. Reaching it means a short, steep trail, a hand-cut tunnel, and a suspension bridge to the light.
