ICB Art Open Studios
ICB Art Open Studios opens nearly 100 working studios in Sausalito’s Industrial Center Building for a free Friday preview and a full Saturday and Sunday walk-through.
Open Studios is the weekend the Industrial Center Building, the ICB, stops being a private warehouse and becomes one of Marin’s biggest art walks. Painters, sculptors, photographers, fabric artists, and media makers open their rooms across three floors in the Marinship district. In 2026 the public days are Friday, November 13 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, then Saturday and Sunday, November 14 and 15 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

What To Expect
This is a studio building, not a storefront gallery. You walk long halls, step into working rooms, and talk to the person who made the piece. Admission is free. The Friday evening is the preview. Saturday and Sunday are the full daytime wander, and the building needs more than a quick loop if you want more than one floor.
When & Where
Industrial Center Building, 480 Gate 5 Rd, Sausalito, CA 94965. Heath Ceramics is next door at 400 Gate 5 Road, which makes a natural Marinship pair: factory showroom, then studios. Approach from Harbor Drive if Gate 5 Road is rough. Confirm the weekend on icbartists.com before you drive, since public hours are the event calendar, not an everyday open sign.
Parking & Planning
Parking is free, including handicap spaces, and the building has an elevator. Wear comfortable shoes. If you already know artists you want to see, check the directory on icbartists.com and write down the rooms. Between Open Studios weekends, many artists will see you by appointment. The building line at (415) 332-0730 is for the Industrial Center Building itself.
480 Gate 5 Rd, Sausalito, CA 94965 Free · Friday, November 13, 5:00–8:00 PM · Saturday and Sunday, November 14–15, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM icbartists.com
Local tip: Go Saturday or Sunday if you want the full building, and start with Heath next door so the Marinship trip is two stops instead of one. Friday evening is the easier preview if you only have a couple of hours.
